RESULTS CLUB TRIAL – NORTHLANDS – 3RD NOVEMBER 2019
Thanks to Team Laverdos for laying out – Tom Horsborough, Gary Stewart, Graham Kinght, James Turner and Leslie Castle – particularly on such a wet and windy morning. A low turnout due to Group Trial on same day, but those that came found a relatively easy trial in good weather – so hope all enjoyed themselves.
NEXT TRIAL – 1ST DECEMBER MANNINGS HEATH – TEAM DUGGIES
CLUB TRIAL – ROME WOODS 6TH OCTOBER 2019
Thanks to Team Laverdos for laying out – Tim Dowling, Garry Budgen, Adrian Holloway
Quite a low turnout – probably due to overnight rain and the reputation of Rome
when it’s wet. However those that did make the effort found it wasn’t too bad
after all – particularly the yellows!
Thanks also to Anthony Budgen who helped me with the signing on !!
NEXT TRIAL – 3RD NOVEMBER – TEAM GREEVIES – NORTHLANDS
Results from Kingsfold
CLUB TRIAL – KINGSFOLD 4TH AUGUST 2019
Thanks to Team Fantics for laying out – Adam and Barrie Birchmore, Bob Wort, John Illingworth and Jacob and Adrian – not really the team but good of them to help lay out. Yellows had an easy day but not so for the blues but hopefully everyone enjoyed the day.
NEXT TRIAL – 1ST SEPTEMBER – TEAM JIMMIES MANNINGS HEATH
Thanks to team and all helpers for getting everything together for this Adrian, Adam, Tim, Mike, Tony Flegg, Phil etc. Russell and anyone else who helped. We decided to make this trial 20 sections to see how it went, it was quite a lot of work to set out but we had many complimentary comments so all worthwhile which is good. Shame about the rain early Sunday morning, but it did make the sections slightly tricky. Finally thanks to Russell’s other half, Jane, for helping with the raffle all proceeds from the trial and raffle will go to Charity.
NEXT TRIAL – 4TH AUGUST KINGSFOLD – TEAM FANTICS
CLUB TRIAL – ROME WOODS – 2ND JUNE
Thanks to Michael Hyden, Chris Heron and Adrian H for
laying out. A warm, dry and sunny Rome Woods was a change
but still a low entry due to Bluebeard/Whitebeards weekend.
Relatively easy for most and hope everyone enjoyed the day.
NEXT TRIAL – 6/7TH JULY CAMPING WEEKEND – NORTHLANDS – TEAM KWACKERS
Trial Saturday pm and Sunday as normal. The site will be open Friday
evening if anyone wants to camp or come for a beer round the fire.
The plan is to lay out 20 sections, (weather permitting) – and there will
1 lap Saturday and 2 laps on the Sunday.
Results from Mannings Heath
Thanks to Team Indians for laying out, Jack Taylor, Ian McCulloch and Ian J. An easy ride for most and good to see some old faces – Sam and Joe Davidson, and Kevin Brooker with his daughter Bea – and Phil W who said Tony would also have been there had he not been out the night before! Hope to see them all at the camping weekend in July. Tracey had a bit of tumble and hurt her shoulder – hope all OK now Tracey.
GROUP TRIAL – SUNDAY 12TH MAY – ENTRY FORM ON HR WEBSITE/facebook AND PLEASE LET MIKE KNOW IF YOU CAN OBSERVE – THANKS
NEXT TRIAL – ROME WOODS – 2ND JUNE – TEAM MONTIES
Kingsfold Kracker! Thanks to Team Harleys: Clint Leggett, Mike Husband & Neil for setting out & the numerous clearing up “volunteers”.
Good conditions helped riders achieve (mostly) low scores as hoped for by your Clerks of the Course.
AGM: 24th April, Star Pub, Rusper 8pm all welcome, all ideas welcome, all volunteers welcome!!
Next Trial: Mannings Heath May 5th Team Indians – followed by Horsham Riders Bluebell Trial on the 12th.
CLUB TRIAL – NORTHLANDS 3RD MARCH 2019
Thanks to Team Enfields for laying out – Graham and Bob on
Yellows and Blues and Jack on Whites with Phil Tickner-Wand on reds..
Saturday was still warm and dry – overnight rain which carried on to
Sunday changed things quite dramatically and resulted in
one of the hardest trials we’ve had for a while – the results
speak for themselves
Let’s hope for an easier time at Kingsfold next month.
NEXT TRIAL –7TH APRIL – KINGSFOLD – TEAM HARLEYS
This year we’ve donated to the Sussex Air Ambulance. This donation is mainly from our charity Two day trial plus other donations, such as having no trophies for our trials… we just ride for fun! So thank you to all the riders, course plotters & admin bods for supporting us last year and here’s to more of the same in 2019.
CLUB TRIAL -MANNINGS HEATH – 3RD FEBRUARY
It was very cold for the team laying out on Saturday – but luckily
Sunday was still cold but sunny which led to quite a good entry of 39
Everyone enjoyed the day, but Tim forget his boots, someone else
forgot their trousers and Adrian thought he’d lost his keys until he
remembered where he’d put them! Are they all getting old ?!
Thanks to Adrian, Tim, Teabag and Rich for laying out
NEXT TRIAL -3RD MARCH – NORTHLANDS – TEAM ENFIELDS
